What is Pangjia? By Nicolle Andy There once existed an ancient land called PANGAIA. Pan meaning ONE and Gaia meaning EARTH. Like their name, the people of Pangaia saw themselves as ONE. ONE land, ONE Earth, ONE Sea. They worshipped their togetherness. One day a lightening bolt struck the center of the land and created a crack that began to separate the great ONE Island. The forces of Earth shook them apart and over time the land, along with the animals and beings that lived there, were separated into many different parts. They began to experience separation. The shift changed life on PANGAIA forever. Now that there were many lands they had to rename themselves because the name “One-Earth” was no longer true. The people began to see themselves as different entities with separate ways, perspectives and cultures. It distanced them from the beings which once were considered part of them. However, they progressed throughout time because their new independent ways helped them create new technologies and understandings. Soon enough, the children of the children of the children of the great ONE land began to not understand this great unity that they had come from. They began to worship their differences. Some believed that certain lands, beings, or ways were better than others. They began to believe more in their differences than that which had connected them in the beginning. This caused them to start WAR on their brothers and sisters. The love that once connected all of the beings of Pangaia turned into confusion, misunderstanding and fear of each other. Their planet began to erode with the negative energies they were creating and sending out onto their counterparts. It looked as if they would no longer exist… THEN CAME THE DAY…when they began to reconnect! -To create the new Pangjia! Even though the children of the children of the ancients did not remember the great one island, they felt that something was off. They missed their connectedness. They felt lonely. So they began to build bridges. Since they couldn’t do that physically-for they had grown so separate-they did it digitally with the technology they had come to know with the passing of time and separation. This technology not only connected them in new ways than they had ever seen, but it reminded them of their similarities across cultures, time and space. It reminded them that all of life is connected no matter the situation nor distance the mind had created and focused on in the past. This revamped Pangjia became stronger than the last because the people knew the sadness of separation, fighting, and war. Their broken past taught them the fruits of togetherness. They learned to respect their past for that had welcomed and brought about a bright new vision of unity. The people learned that separation in space means nothing. They came to understand that separation in the mind and heart meant more. And if they could be unified in the mind and in the heart then they could survive. The people of all lands, after so much time of separation, had come to know their innate and intimate connection to all other life on Earth. We all belong to the same PANGJIA. To the same ONE EARTH. When we decide to look at our similarities across cultures, countries, and species we see that everything around us is alive and shares the same space. Just as the trees provide us oxygen and the rain provides us water, the earth provides our nutrients and the sun gives us warmth to live. Everyone and every being share these things in common. WE ALL SHARE THE RIGHT TO THRIVE. When we begin to understand that we are all connected in this space and time, we begin to treat every being like ourselves, as a part of us and the illusion of separation dissolves. That is what Pangjia is all about. -The realization that we come from the same source-not only are we all connected but we are all one. Welcome to the new Pangjia.
